The Animal News Hour: Women Helping Wolves Live

As promised, I’m sharing the link to the inaugural episode of The Animal News Hour! This project is the brainchild of David Forjan, an advocate who is determined to “spend the rest of his life helping animals.”

This is the first of many episodes and it is focused on wolves. A good place to start, for in David’s words, “the fight for Wolves is the consummate struggle for all animal treatment.  If we can win this battle for the Wolves, we pave the way for better treatment for all other animals, wild or domestic.  But, it’s not an easy battle.”

David chose to interview women for this show, realizing that females are holding the front lines in the fight to protect wolves. In the hour and thirteen minute long podcast you will hear: Suzanne Stone from Defenders of Wildlife, Amaroq Weiss of The Center for Biological Diversity, Jill Fritz from the Humane Society of the US, Wendy Keefover from WildEarth Guardians, Maggie Howell of the Wolf Conservation Center, myself–Beckie Elgin of Wolves and Writing, and Alyssa Grayson, a 12 year old wolf advocate with the National Wolfwatcher Coalition.

Enjoy the podcast and share it widely!
